Extendable table handcrafted in wood, all visible parts are in olive wood:

  • turned and carved legs in solid olive wood with classic wheels
  • sides and perimeter band - both in the top and in the extensions - veneered in olive wood (3 mm thick)
  • central part of the top and extensions in olive root also of great thickness (3 mm)

The inlay present throughout the table is handmade in maple and ebonized wood.
The briar comes from the same olive tree and is positioned on the table in a symmetrical manner.
The oval table is extendable, the two halves of the table can be opened by sliding them on the wooden tracks, up to 4 extensions complete with side rails can be added in the center so that the table, even if completely extended, does not have empty lateral spaces, indeed it is possible to keep it always extended if space allows it, the briar workmanship and inlaying is the same both in the top and in the extensions. Two extensions have foldable sides and can be placed inside the table when not in use; the other two extensions have fixed sides and must be stored in another cabinet or closet. The table is equipped with 2 additional central legs, also in carved solid olive wood and with wheels, to be screwed under the central crosspiece before fully extending it. You can choose whether to place 2 at the ends or just 1 in the centre, there are specifically 3 threaded holes in the crosspiece. The other 4 legs can also be removed (unscrewed) to facilitate transport.
Dimensions: closed 200x138x80h cm, 04 extensions of 50 cm each, when extended it all reaches 400x138 cm.

Important Note: wood is a 'living' and natural material that continues to live even after its biological end. Any small cracks that may appear in the solid wood parts (as happens in antique and original furniture) are not to be considered imperfections or the result of poor workmanship. The same applies to small knots and differences in grain which, however, demonstrate the naturalness of the material used and make the piece of furniture itself unique and valuable.
Wood is able to constantly adapt its level of humidity to the surrounding environment: for the optimal conservation of furniture we recommend an environment with 60% humidity and approximately 20° temperature, avoiding excessive changes.
