Original antique furniture from the 19th century, tall desk to be used standing up as a lectern or display cabinet, desk made entirely of solid walnut with internal parts of the drawers and bottom of the flaps in softer wood. Turned legs, 2 open shelves, 2 drawers (one large, the other smaller - probably for pens, given the ink marks on the bottom), the inclined support surface is divided into 2 liftable parts with a usable compartment underneath. Very few restoration interventions, repolished on ancient patina. Seen from all sides, it can be placed in the center of the room. Suitable as a lectern, display cabinet or as a library cabinet. Dimensions in cm: 150x62, height 110/120, useful space between the open shelves approximately 32/34 cm, useful space in height in the flap compartment minimum 4 cm, max 12.5 cm. Antique cherry wood desk, 19th century, turned legs, one full-width drawer with internal parts in solid fir, antique working lock, new knobs and bushing. The top can be lifted and positioned inclined with support slats; the central part is covered with real green leather with golden decorations. The only negative note: it is suitable as an occasional workstation, or to be used as a piece of furniture or for placing books/objects/frames, it does not have the stability of a new writing desk. Writing table made with antique parts of other furniture, all visible parts in solid antique national walnut, internal parts of the drawers in solid antique fir. In particular, the support surface is made up of only 2 planks placed side by side in width. Lyre-shaped legs connected by 2 wrought and hand-crafted irons, Two drawers with style locks and keys (new). This writing desk seems original but is a reproduction from the end of the 20th century, all handcrafted using traditional techniques, unique piece, never used piece of furniture.
