Classic style bookcase with two bodies composed of a sideboard base and a stand with display case. The base has high saber legs, 4 doors flush with the structure, closure with locks and hooks (as in many antique furniture), 2 separate compartments with a shelf in the middle. The upper bookcase showcase is equipped with 4 doors with antique glass, 2 shelves per compartment that can be moved to heights of your choice with a traditional wooden ladder system. The piece of furniture was built in an artisanal way using ancient solid fir wood in all the internal parts (backs, shelves, bottom) and solid and veneered cherry wood for all the visible parts. At first glance it seems like an original antique piece of furniture, only an expert eye can notice that it is a modern reproduction. Very old paintwork. Some parts have light cracks on the surface of the painting which in a less classic and less 'antique' looking piece of furniture would be evident unaesthetic defects, but in this type of piece of furniture, which intends to approximate the overall rendering to a period piece of furniture, these 'defects' combine to give it an ancient and lived-in appearance.
