Round table that opens in the center with solid wood sliding tracks, 1 or 2 external extensions complete with side rails can be inserted, when extended it becomes oval. Edges of the top flush with the sides, curved legs in solid olive wood. Top and extensions veneered in thick olive wood on a solid fir blockboard base, top worked in segments. The table in the photo was finished with hard wax oil, a matt-satin effect, slightly antiqued; alternatively it can be painted with a polishing shade of your choice, even in a natural color and raw effect (acrylic painting). Dimensions: diameter 130 cm, height 80 cm, 02 extensions of 50 cm each, can be extended to 180x130 cm (1 extension) or 230x130 cm (2 extensions). Also achievable with a diameter of 120 and 140 cm, with curved legs as in the photo or truncated-pyramid ones. The traditional techniques and the type of material used for the production of this table (slabs of solid olive wood 3-4 millimeters thick for the top and extensions, solid olive wood in the legs) mean that the surface of the top may present some small cracks and irregularities over time and with use, which are absolutely irrelevant on a structural level but which for some may be unsightly.

Important Note: wood is a 'living' and natural material that continues to live even after its biological end. Any small cracks that may appear in the solid wood parts (as happens in antique and original furniture) are not to be considered imperfections or the result of poor workmanship. The same applies to small knots and differences in grain which, however, demonstrate the naturalness of the material used and make the piece of furniture itself unique and valuable.
Wood is able to constantly adapt its level of humidity to the surrounding environment: for the optimal conservation of furniture we recommend an environment with 60% humidity and approximately 20° temperature, avoiding excessive changes.
