Single Slab Olive Wood Table

Table crafted from thick solid olive wood, featuring a single, whole slab top, with stainless steel or iron bases.
The tables on this page share the same olive wood top, differing only in the leg design.
A few olive wood tops are still available, in their raw state, awaiting processing and finishing, similar to the one pictured, sourced from the same centuries-old tree.

Modern-style table featuring a thick top (approx. 8 cm) made from a single slab of solid olive wood sourced from a centuries-old tree, with natural, irregular edges. Cracks have been filled with a translucent black epoxy resin pour; a couple of corners have also been reshaped to give the table a more rectangular form. The surface is finished with a two-component varnish. The stainless steel 'V'-shaped legs have a satin finish. Dimensions: approximately 195/200x85/90 cm, variable depending on the measurement point.

Important Note: Wood is a 'living' and natural material that continues to evolve even after its biological end. Any small cracks that may appear in solid wood parts (as is common in antique and original furniture) are not to be considered imperfections or the result of poor craftsmanship. The same applies to small knots and variations in grain, which instead attest to the naturalness of the material used and make the furniture piece unique and valuable.
Wood constantly adapts its moisture content to the surrounding environment: for optimal preservation of furniture, an environment with approximately 60% humidity and 20°C temperature is recommended, avoiding excessive fluctuations.
